Yesterday was a BLAST! It was Roxanne's birthday. I went to Marina Mall with my fam and went home around 6:30pm, so I just met up with my friends in AD Mall. We bought Roxanne her gift and gave it to her while we were staying in Cold Rock. I can't explain the way her face looked when she saw what her gift was.. Haha!
After eating ice cream, Bianca and I went to CO-OP to buy water. As we were waiting in the line for the people in front of us to pay the cashier, there was this woman who looked like she didn't give a damn of the people around her and just butted in the line! Bianca said politely that there's a line and to stay in the back but she shouted, "NO!". OMG, I was soo shocked!! I mean, is that what you call a "role model" for younger people like us to follow? She's soo mean and HELLO! She's not supposed to answer back at us that way! And shame, she was with her 20-something year old daughter that time. It doesn't mean we're young that we don't deserve the respect we need. Gawd, she remind me of Ms. Trunchbull from the movie "Matilda". Haha! And she looks exactly like her by the way.
After a BAD moment with that woman, we saw the guys in Books Gallery. We then decided to get out of AD Mall. The others headed home while Darren, Karl, Bianca and I went to another birthday party! It was the birthday of a grade 1 student from our school. So yeah, you guessed it.. WHOO! I was soo full! The food was delicious and I had a great conversation with my friends just talking about anything and everything. Then by 11:30pm, Bianca went home with her fam while Darren and Karl dropped me home. We stayed for a while in the spot, but 2 police officers shoo-ed at us to go away! Then, I went home.
Yey! It was the perfect day for me. Aside from that Ms. Trunchbull-like woman who was such a pain in the ass, I had loads of GREAT fun and not to mention, I got to know new friends! And I think that's what makes yesterday soo special! =)
