YES! INTERNET! I didn't have the chance to blog the last time I went online in Batangas because I was in the internet cafe then and there were too many people looking over my back. You guys know how uncomfortable it is to do whatever you want in the computer while someone's looking at your every move! Plus, I wasn't in the mood to share my thoughts because it was too hot! The weather here is killing me but it's okay since it's soo much hotter in Abu Dhabi. As of now I'm in my sister's flat in Manila. I had to wake up early to go here for my medical in FEU. We stayed there for 2 hours then went to Goldilocks for lunch and now here I am!
I don't really have the time to blog all the things that's been happening to me lately because I have lots of other things to check. To all my classmates that I dont have contact with here in the Philippines, just drop me a message in Friendster or tag in my tagboard if you want to know my number and the numbers of our other classmates as well.
Keep in touch parin! Babay.
The Graduation Song
Dave Matthews Band
Hoping for a new beginning
To take me away from my surroundings
So I can finally say goodbye
Wondering what'll become of us
When we are all old and gray
And this time that we've spent together
Was well worth our wait
Think of the fun that we had
Not caring until the next morning
It feels so good to go through life
With your eyes half open
We are all one in the same
We are lovers, and brothers, and sisters
And we're most of our friends
These years have passed us by
So fast it seems like we never got the chance
To realize how good life really was
And let the moment last
And it feels like it was only yesterday
When we walked into this place
And said I can't wait till I get out of here
And now as we walk down this aisle
With four years all rolled up in a scroll
You can't help but think
Hey, Where did the time go
We are all one in the same
We are lovers, and brothers, and sisters
And we're most of our friends
Hold on to your memories
Hold on to those little things
And I hope you receive as much as you get
Cause when you die they're the only things
That you can take to your grave
These are the days of your life
And don't let them pass you by
Cause you never know when you might take your last breath
And so take a deep one tonight
Good friends we had along the way
And good friends that didn't make it to where we stand today
But we all know that they're looking down on us
And even though their lives were cut short
We still remember the little thing that made us laugh about them
And do you remember when and where did you meet them?
We are one in the same
We are lovers, and brothers, and sisters
And we're most of our friends
Hold on to your memories
Hold on to those little things
And I hope you receive as much as you get
Cause when you die they're the only things
That you can take to your grave
And as we approach our final day
Where we all will go our separate ways
So go hug and kiss your friends
And say goodbye to them
Cueshe's performance at Crowne Plaza Hotel last night was great! It took us a long time to wait for them but the performance was satisying and well-worth the money. We had fun singing along to their tracks, shouting, and taking their pictures and autographs. I'm looking forward to seeing more bands in the Philippines! Yay!
The weather here in Abu Dhabi is killing me right now! It's so hot and humid outside and you can actually feel the rays of the sun going right through your skin. I feel like a barbecue being cooked in hot charcoal everytime I step out. Grr.. I HATE SUMMER! I get sweaty during summer, I get black during summer and the hot weather puts me in a bad mood. I HATE SUMMER!
7 days to go and it's already our graduation day. It's also the day that I'll be heading to Philippines for college. It feels so fast, really.
Speaking of graduation, it has been weeks that my mom and I were searching for a dress. We went to almost every shop there is and luckily, we found a white dress in Forever 21. It looks something like from the 1950s to the 1960s. It has this really cute polka dot designs all over and a navy blue ribbon at the middle. Yay! =)
This coming Thursday, I'll be watching Cueshe's gig at Crowne Plaza Hotel. I don't even know why I'm going to watch them. I mean, I'm so bored of their music already (My classmates play their music every second.. There isn't even a day I didn't hear them play Cueshe)! I only love one song from them - "Stay". I always reminisce a lot of memories everytime I listen to that song. Maybe the reason for me to watch them is for the sake of me doing something different and memorable before I leave Abu Dhabi and to know how it feels to be in a live concert. Plus, my friends told me that Ruben looked good in their previous gig in Ratskey.. Hehe! The tickets are only sold for Dhs.75 so for anybody who wants to watch Cueshe's gig, go grab their tickets now!
I love music. <3
