My sister and I woke up early today because kuya Winston invited us to go to SM Mall of Asia. At around 11:00am, he and kuya Sherwin picked us up in our place and after minutes of traveling, we met with the others in SM Mall of Asia. So far it has been the best and the BIGGEST mall I have seen here in the Philippines. My sister's friends and Karl (my HS classmate) were in the ice rink so we strolled around the mall while waiting for them to finish. I sooner found out that they almost have all the stores I know. Hay, sobrang sarap mag-shopping dun! Kung may pera nga lang.. Hehe! After strolling around we met up the others and ate lunch. We ate in Burgoo. I swear the place is soo good. The ambience is good, the furnitures they used are good, the lighting is good - but it was so stacked because there were too many people. I ate baked macaroni and the food is delicious too! Expensive nga lang.. But very worth it!
After a very satisying meal at Burgoo (I just love the way how that word is pronounced), the others went back to go ice skating while some of my sister's friends and I went strolling again in the mall. When we went inside Topshop I realized something - why is it that when I buy clothes in Abu Dhabi (no matter how expensive it is) parang wala lang. Pero when I go inside the same shop here feeling ko parang can't afford na. Maybe it's because abroad you get the feeling you can afford anything you want because you can easily earn the money (from allowances, extra money given, blalala..) Pero dito limited lang ang budget kaya you have to save money. Siguro ganon talaga ka-hirap ang buhay dito sa Pilipinas. Opinion ko lang yun ha. Hay.. So yeah, we were walking around and look what we saw outside the mall..
Ganda noh? I just wished it was cold that time! After strolling my sister's friends decided to meet up with the others so we went back to the ice rink in the middle of the mall. We kept on laughing so hard because there was this guy who didn't know how to skate at all (criticizing ba? Hehe!) but what made me laugh the most is the fact na sobrang galing niya mag-balance, kasi kahit na ilang beses na siya malapit matumba talagang he can still keep his balance and not fall down. We were waiting a long time and it was like after 10-20 minutes pa nung matumba siya. Sayang nga lang the others didn't see it. Hahaha!
After meeting up with Karl and the others, we decided to go home. Kuya Winston dropped us home around 7:00pm.
Anyway, I would like to greet my friend Jeb a very very happy birthday! Kahit na magkalayo tayo, I hope we still keep in touch. And that goes out for the rest of my classmates too! =) Happy birthday and many more birthdays to come!! Happy Independence Day din pala.. Araw ng kalayaaan bukas eh! Huh? Tinagalog ko lang. Sige na nga.. Babay na!
